Tapdata Welcomes Robin Losey as Chief Operating Officer

Recently, Tapdata announced the official appointment of Robin Losey, former Managing Director (IT) for the Asia Pacific region at FedEx, an expert in software engineering and development management, as the Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Leveraging his business acumen, extensive technical expertise, and adeptness in coaching, training, and team leadership, Robin leads the Research and Development (R&D) group at Tapdata and co-leads the executive management team together with the founder, TJ. His R&D team has end-to-end product ownership for the Tapdata Enterprise, Cloud and upcoming Community versions of its real-time data replication product. The R&D team provides software development, Dev Ops, architecture, Quality Assurance (QA) and technical support services for these products. Additionally, he will be entrusted with driving Tapdata’s global business expansion initiatives.

During his seventeen-year tenure at FedEx Express, Robin, as an experienced technology executive, led transformation of portfolio after portfolio, including: infrastructure, Information Security, Vendor Management, Project and Portfolio Management, Scaled Agile Adoption, Service Desk, and software development for customer-facing, back-office, and operations solutions, making significant contributions to the company’s innovation efforts.

Robin holds degrees in Computer Science, Mathematics, Education, and Business, including Masters degrees from Harvard and Singapore Management University. As a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) 6.0 SPC, TOGAF, ITIL, and Project Management/Prince 2 veteran, Robin continues to provide occasional training on the O’Reilly on such topics as Enterprise Architecture, where he graciously shares his comprehensive research and practical experience in relevant subjects.
